We all know the feeling of that perfect Sunday brunch coffee. You’re at a cool café, the machine is hissing, the vibe is right, and the flat white tastes like magic. But what about Tuesday morning?

What about 8:45 AM, when it’s raining, you’ve got a meeting in 15 minutes, and you’re staring at your kitchen counter and you want that Sunday morning coffee again?

That is why Five Point exists. We didn't start this brand to compete with your favourite weekend café. We started it to bridge the gap between the professional barista experience and the cup you drink in your own kitchen every single day.

From Melbourne to the Meaning of Ink

The obsession started in Melbourne in 2013. Before that, coffee was just "hot and brown" - instant granules or high-street chains. But one sip of a proper Melbourne brew changed the game. It was a rabbit hole that led from the specialty shops of Bath and Bristol all the way to New Zealand in 2017.

New Zealand is where the two sides of Five Point collided. It was the home of the Flat White, but it was also where I finally took the plunge into traditional tattoo culture.

Why "Five Point"?

In traditional tattooing, the Five Point Flower is more than just a design. I have 11 of them dotted around my arms. They are the ultimate "filler" - they bridge the gaps between bigger pieces, connecting separate ideas into one cohesive sleeve.

That is exactly what we do with coffee. We bridge the gap. We connect the technical world of specialty roasting with the daily ritual of your home routine.

Respect the Chain

Coffee has a long, complex supply chain, and all too often, the people at the very start of it get left behind. We don't play that game.

  • Ethical Sourcing: We only source beans where we can trace the origin and ensure the farmers are paid fairly for their hard work.

  • Small Batch: Everything we sell is roasted in small batches. This ensures quality, freshness, and consistency that mass-market brands just can't match.

No Lab Coats. No Bullshit.

Specialty coffee can be intimidating. We are here to strip that back. You don't need a science degree to drink our coffee, you just need a mug and some level of equipment.

We offer a spectrum of flavours because real coffee isn't one-note.
